We are a Lincolnshire-based home care agency, established in 2002 and family-run. Our aim is to provide the support that you need, when you need it. When choosing care at home, whether for yourself or for a loved one, we believe that you should be in control.  We cover a large area including Lincoln, Louth, Skegness, Sleaford, Horncastle, Billinghay, Alford, Woodhall Spa, Conningsby, Ruskington, Boston, Kirton, Mablethorpe, Spilsby, Bardney, Chapel St Leonards, Sutton on Sea and Wragby. The team of experienced carers at Walnut Care at Home can help in many ways. Walnut Care at Home can be booked on a short or long term basis, and may be funded with help from Lincolnshire Social Services or the NHS. Alternatively you can purchase our services privately, or by using self-directed support funding. We are also able to work with other local authorities for those who are away from home. Our aim is to provide a service that matches your needs and expectations as closely as possible. This is achieved by listening carefully to you and your family so that we have a complete picture of your care needs and your goals, so that we can draw up a care-plan of exactly how we can help We of course respect your right to privacy and dignity and you will be looked after by our reliable team of trained staff, who aim to promote your independence as much as possible. Our services are flexible and able to respond to your changing needs. We never forget that we are guests in your home. If you believe that Walnut Care at Home is for you, our team will assist you in planning how and when your care is provided. Our excellent staff retention level ensures continuity in the level of care we can provide and thus a special relationship is formed between carer and care user. We also have good support relationships with GPs, district nurses and social workers in the county.

We can help you by

assisting with personal care tasks like washing, dressing, getting up and going to bed

supporting you to maintain your mobility for as long as possible

providing staff who are trained to use hoists and other equipment

cooking and serving meals throughout the day

undertaking domestic duties such as laundry and shopping, either for you or with you

going with you to social or medical appointments

providing respite for family members and carers

being a companion by day or night

The service is available to all, including those whose needs are due to physical disability or learning difficulties
